Ordinary Time: August 11th Memorial of St. Clare, virgin

Ordinary Time: August 11th
Memorial of St. Clare, virgin

St. Clare of Assisi was the first woman to practice the life of entire poverty as taught by St. Francis. Placed by him at the head of a few companions in the small convent of San Damiano, she governed her community for forty-two years thus founding at the gates of Assisi the Order of Poor Clares. Their Rule included austerities hitherto unknown in monasteries of women. They went barefoot, slept on the ground, kept perpetual abstinence and made poverty the basis of their lives. St. Clare died on August 11, 1253, and was canonized two years after her death.

Unizik Sale of Pre-Science Forms for 2017/2018 Programme: by kaka prince

Unizik Sale of Pre-Science Forms for 2017/2018 Programme

This is to duly inform all aspirants who are interested in applying for the 2018 session of the Unizik Prescience program that the unizik prescience/pre-degree forms are currently on sale.

The form is sold for #8,000 and obtainable in all banks located within the school (NAU) Awka campus.

QUALIFICATION:
The minimum academic qualification is five O’ Level credits which will include English, Mathematics and any other three relevant sciences subjects in SSCE, NECO, GCE and NABTEB at not more than two sittings.

Note :admission into the Pre-science Programme is strictly based on first come, first served policy and candidates must have made at least 5 credits.

I take myself as example, although I was an "A" student before I went for that Programme yet I was transformed to the extent that I could read 10 hrs non-stop. So if you are unable to gain admission this year you have an ample opportunity to show the world that you are not a dullard and never will YOU be

Also the Programme is meant for science students only!!! I know that the question that will be ringing in the minds of many readers of this publication is how much does the Programme cost? Well, it costs just #44,000 for those who made their result at a sitting, but #45,000 for those who want to combine results
